Lucas Elementary Dual Language Academy is located in the heart of California’s Stanislaus County and surrounded by the suburban community of Ceres. Lucas was built in 2013 and opened its doors to staff and students on August 14, 2013. Lucas Elementary Dual Language Academy is 1 of 4 fully immersed dual language schools in Stanislaus County.  With over 98 elementary schools in the area, we are a premier option and educational opportunity for many students desiring to be biliterate.  Our campus is located on the southwest side of Ceres and it accommodates students from the entire region. The majority of our students are driven by their parents to school, several are at walking distance, and less than 1% of students are transported by bus to and from school.

Lucas Elementary Dual Language Academy is a Kindergarten through 6th grade school.  The culture is diverse. Of the approximately 665 students, approximately 73% of the students receive free or reduced cost breakfast and lunch, 55% are English Learners (EL).
